How can I purchase the policy?

Driver-partners on Gold and Platinum reward tiers don’t have to pay anything to enjoy this coverage – premiums will be fully paid for by GOJEK, and you’ll receive your insurance documents automatically from Gigacover! Driver-partners on Green, Bronze, and Silver GoalBetter reward tiers will be able to purchase this policy from mid-April 2019 at highly subsidised rates. When can I make a claim?

The earlier, the better – make a claim as soon as you receive your MC, and no later than 30 days from it.

Can I submit multiple MCs?

Yes, you can! MCs from the same hospital, polyclinic, or GP can be submitted sequentially and will be treated as one extended medical leave, as long as they are all for the same condition and there are no days not covered in between MCs.

Am I only allowed to submit MCs issued from Doctor Anywhere?

No. You can submit MCs issued from any certified doctor/healthcare institution in Singapore, as long as they’re a minimum of 6 days for outpatient leave, and 2 days for hospitalisation leave.

When will I receive the payout?

Can I claim my medical bills under FLEP?

No, you cannot. FLEP simply covers your loss of earnings with an $80/day payout.

Are there exceptions to what can be claimed?

FLEP covers you if you have a valid MC caused by an illness, accident at work, accident outside of work, and necessary medical procedures. Some exclusions do apply, including hospitalisation or medical leave caused by:

  • Pre-existing conditions
  • Congenital conditions
  • Pregnancy, childbirth, abortion, miscarriage or any complications thereof
  • Wisdom tooth extraction
  • Mental and nervous disorders
  • Intoxication or breaking the law

Where will I receive the payout?
