SINGAPORE, March 13, 2019 - GOJEK has struck an exclusive partnership with Esso and DBS - Singapore’s largest petrol and bank networks, respectively - to provide its drivers with competitive fuel rebates. This is part of the ride-hailing company’s mission to lower the operating costs for driver-partners and provide them with better earnings stability.
From April 1, all GOJEK driver-partners will enjoy an upfront discount of 20% when they purchase petrol at any of Esso’s 61 retail service stations around Singapore. Active driver-partners* can enjoy additional fuel rebates of up to about 12%.
As part of GOJEK’s ongoing partnership with DBS, driver-partners who use their DBS/POSB Debit Cards to pay for petrol at Esso petrol stations will also enjoy additional rebates, with details on this scheme to be unveiled within the next month.
This announcement of GOJEK’s alliance with Esso and DBS comes after the ride-hailing company announced its partnerships with Doctor Anywhere and Gigacover to offer convenient medical consultation services and Prolonged Medical Insurance respectively to its driver-partners - as part of a series of benefits aimed at boosting the well-being of driver-partners.
*Top active driver-partners are those who complete the most number of trips in a quarter, and are determined by GOJEK on a quarterly basis.
