Pay with GO-PAY at several Store or Restaurant

Now you can use GO-PAY as your payment method when buying foods, drinks, and other goods at several store or restaurant. Isn’t that cool? This is the latest GO-PAY feature collaborating with several merchants to make your transaction easier.

You can use this feature at several Store or Restaurant below:

  1. GO-FOOD Festival (Jakarta, Bogor, Bekasi, Cirebon, dan Makassar)
  2. Cafe or Restaurant: Starbucks, D’ Crepes, Lotteria, Chatime, Breadlife, Gokana, Platinum, Raa Cha, BMK (Bakso Malang Karapitan), Rice Bowl, Chopstix, and many more
  3. Store: Watsons, Gramedia, Optik Seis, Gunung Agung, Electronic City, Scoop, and many more

Wanna know how to use GO-PAY credits as your payment method at  stores? Let’s follow these steps:

  1. Open your GO-JEK app and click “Scan QR”

  2. Scan the QR Code on the cashier or receipt that you receive. Make sure that QR code is in good condition, if QR code is unclear or faded, you can ask the cashier to show QR code in the portal or merchant’s app

  3. Make sure the store or restaurant name listed on the application is correct and your balance is sufficient, then enter the nominal amount to be paid (if needed)

  4. Click “Confirm” and then click “Pay”

  5. For scan QR Code from receipt, you just need to make sure that the Merchant's name and the total amount listed on the application is correct, then click "Pay"

Do I need to pay an extra fee for this transaction?

I entered the wrong nominal when I made the payment, what should I do?

If you had paid your transaction but the nominal wasn’t correct, such as:

  • Overpayment
    If you paid more than the designated price, please ask the cashier to give the overpayment using cash
  • Underpayment or pay less
    If you paid less than the designated price, please transfer the remaining payment using their QR code

How Much is the Top Up Fee and Minimum Top Up of GO-PAY Credit?

Using GO-PAY as a payment method for all GO-JEK services is easier and more efficient. By using GO-PAY, you don’t have to bring cash, and you can also get various discounts. Therefore, always make sure that your GO-PAY balance is sufficient so you can enjoy those benefits. We offer you many ways to top up your GO-PAY credit such as through banks, Alfa Group, and our Drivers.

GO-PAY top up through banks and Alfa Group will be charged with an administrative fee (service fee), in which the fee is a form of GO-PAY's effort to support the payment system in Indonesia.

Below are the top up fees and minimum amount for GO-PAY top up through bank and Alfa Group:

*Currently, the GO-PAY top up through the 7 (seven) banks (BCA, Permata, CIMB Niaga, BTN, Mandiri, BNI and BRI) have no fee. Whereas, start from 1 May 2018, top up fee will be effective for those 7 (seven) banks as shown on table.

*For CIMB and Permata Bank: The top up fee of Rp1.000 will not appear on the ATM screen, internet banking, or proof of transfer, but it will automatically deduct your account and be displayed on the mutation of the bank account transaction used.



How do I pay the administrative fee?

The administrative fee will be automatically deducted from the bank account you use to top up GO-PAY credits, so you will receive GO-PAY credits in accordance to your top up amount.

 

Are the administrative fees fixed (as shown on table above) or fluctuant (adjusting to the nominal amount input)?

The administrative fees are fixed. Regardless of the nominal credits you’ve input to top up your GO-PAY, the fee you pay will not change from the nominal on the table above.

 

Will I get charged a fee if I top up my GO-PAY through transfer via Driver?

No, you will not. If you top up your GO-PAY through transfer via Driver, you only pay for the amount that you want to be added to your GO-PAY balance.

Somebody Used My Account

If you think someone else has used your account without your knowledge, please follow these steps:

  1. Do not log out from your app
  2. Report to cs@go-pay.co.id with these following data:
    • Detail of what happened to your GO-JEK account
    • Screenshot of GO-PAY transaction history
    • Latest GO-PAY balance before someone else used your account
    • Proof (or receipt) of GO-PAY top up transaction (if any)

We will process your report as soon as we can do to retrieve your account back.

To secure your GO-PAY, please create your GO-PAY PIN. This is how:

  1. Go to ‘More’ in GO-PAY tab on homepage
  2. Select ‘Set PIN’
  3. Follow the next steps until you’re finish in creating PIN

 

What is GO-PAY PIN?

GO-PAY PIN is a new security feature that you can now enjoy to keep your GO-PAY. That is why you need to create PIN.

 

Important thing for you to know

To ensure the security of your account, GO-JEK has the latest feature that you can enjoy starting from version 2.24.1 (2.24.1.0). In this feature you don’t need to enter a password to log in to your account.

Here’s how to log in to your account easily:

  1. Enter your phone number or e-mail that is registered in GO-JEK
  2. You will receive 4-digits secret password that is sent via SMS
  3. Enter 4-digits secret password in the required column and click ‘Submit’
  4. You are successfully logged in to your account

The following are things you have to do in order to always keep your account confidential:

  1. Keep your secret password secured as it’s very important and private
  2. Do not give your secret password to others

PT GO-JEK Indonesia never request the 4-digits secret password. So if any party ask for secret password on behalf of PT GO-JEK Indonesia, please do not share it.

How Do I Top Up My GO-PAY Credit?

You can top up your GO-PAY credit through ATM, Internet Banking, Alfa Group retail stores (Alfamart, Alfa Midi, Lawson, and Dan+Dan), and GO-RIDE, GO-FOOD, GO-MART, GO-SHOP, and GO-CAR Drivers.

Click 'Top Up' on the main menu to see how you can top up your GO-PAY credit.

How Do I Withdraw GO-PAY Credit to Bank Account?

You can withdraw your GO-PAY balance to the registered bank account(s) in your GO-PAY. Please keep in mind that the withdrawal process will take approximately two business days.

Terms and Conditions for GO-PAY Withdrawal

  • You have upgraded your GO-PAY account
  • Register your bank account as written on your bank account book (bank name, account name, and account number)

You can follow these easy steps to withdraw your GO-PAY credit:

  1. Click 'More' section and choose 'Withdraw'

  1. Enter the amount you would like to withdraw to 'Withdraw Amount' field and choose the bank account

  1. You can also register up to four bank accounts by clicking 'Add Another Bank'
  2. Enter the bank name, account name, and account number as written on your Bank Account Book, then click 'Save'

  1. Once you have chosen the bank account you want to transfer the money to, click 'Withdraw'. Remember that you will be charged Rp2.500 for every withdraw transaction

How Do I Transfer GO-PAY Credit?

Before you do a transfer, make sure you've already upgraded your GO-PAY account. You can do transfer to your friend's account as a new feature from GO-PAY without any additional charges. Here's how:

  1. Choose 'Transfer' in the main menu

  1. Enter your friend's phone number that is already registered to GO-JEK (you can also search numbers in your phone book), click 'Confirm'. Enter the desired amount to be transferred, click 'Confirm'. Finally, click 'Transfer' in Transfer Confirmation page

Alternatively, you can transfer your GO-PAY credit using QR Code & QR Scan. Here's how to view the QR Code.

You simply need to scan your friend's QR Code and your balance will be sent directly to your friend's account.

How Do I Use GO-PAY?

This is the easiest way to use GO-PAY:

  1. Make sure that your GO-PAY balance is sufficient
  2. If your GO-PAY balance is insufficient, please top up your balance first
  3. Choose GO-PAY as your payment method when ordering GO-JEK services 

What is GO-PAY?

GO-PAY is an electronic money for any payment transaction that you can use through GO-JEK app. You can use GO-PAY for:

  • Transaction in GO-JEK App: You can use GO-PAY for your transaction in the GO-JEK app. Your credit can be used for GO-RIDE, GO-CAR, GO-FOOD, GO-MART, GO-SHOP, GO-SEND, GO-BOX, GO-PULSA, GO-BILLS, GO-TIX and GO-MASSAGE.
  • In-Store Payment: Use GO-PAY as a payment method for your transaction at GO-PAY merchant by using ‘Scan QR’ that will deduct your GO-PAY credit.
  • Online Payment: Use GO-PAY as a payment method for your transaction at several Online Stores.
  • Other Transactions: If you have already Upgraded your GO-PAY account, you can transfer your GO-PAY credit to other GO-JEK users and you can also withdraw your GO-PAY credit through your bank account.

  2. Scan QR: You can use this feature for the offline and online transaction, also to transfer your GO-PAY credit to another user by scanning their QR code.

  4. More: If you click this icon, it will show you more of GO-PAY features.
  5. Set A GO-PAY PIN: This feature helps you to set your PIN to secure your GO-PAY credit. PIN is also necessary to use other features like ‘Transfer’, ‘Withdraw’, and transaction in GO-BILLS or GO-PULSA.
  6. Upgrade GO-PAY Account: This feature helps you to upgrade your GO-PAY account so you can use GO-PAY’s features such as Transfer and Withdraw.
  7. Receive: You can receive payment from another GO-PAY user by asking them to scan your QR code.
  8. History: This feature shows your GO-PAY transaction history. 
  9. Withdraw: You can transfer your GO-PAY credit to your bank account. In other words, you can withdraw your GO-PAY credit via bank account that has been registered in your GO-PAY account.
  10. Voucher: You can use this feature to redeem your voucher code (if you have any). Just make sure the voucher code that you entered is right and still valid.
  11. Help: You can learn all about GO-PAY and find solutions for your inquiry easily.
  12. Setting You can use this feature to view your upgrade GO-PAY status, register your bank account for withdrawal, set your GO-PAY PIN, and information about GO-PAY terms and conditions.

  5. Input your phone number and choose GO-PAY as the payment method

Pay with GO-PAY at Online Store

Now, you can make a purchase at online store such as Coda Shop, Tororo, e-mas, Recharge, Kicaukecil, DVD-original, Jagapati, Furnicer, Fxclothink, Variasi MX, and Esgotado using your GO-PAY credits in your mobile web.

Follow these steps to use GO-PAY as your payment method:

  1. Go to online store using your mobile phone or desktop
  2. If you use a mobile phone, make sure your phone has a GO-JEK app. If you're using a desktop, make sure you have a GO-JEK app in mobile phone with you. Do not forget to log into your GO-JEK account first
  3. Choose GO-PAY as your payment method and make sure that you have enough credits
  4. Follow the instruction for completing the transaction
  5. If you make a payment using mobile phone, click “Proceed to GO-JEK application” to process your transaction using GO-PAY and GO-JEK app will be opened automatically
  6. If you make a payment using a desktop, then you will use a QR scan in GO-JEK app. The QR code will appear on your desktop screen for 2-15 minutes
  7. Choose “Pay” and enter your GO-PAY PIN correctly.

Do I need to pay an extra fee for this transaction?

How much are the minimum and maximum transaction at online store?

Because you use GO-PAY as your payment method, your transaction limit depends on your current GO-PAY credits.

If the transaction you want to pay is more than Rp1.000.000, you should upgrade your GO-PAY account first. By upgrading your GO-PAY account, you will get a limit increase up to Rp10.000.000

I Haven't Received My GO-PAY Top Up

You don't have to worry if you haven’t received your GO-PAY top up because all of your transactions are recorded in our system. So, when this happens, please make sure the following:

  1. Check your transfer receipt and make sure you input the phone number registered to your GO-JEK account
  2. Make sure your transaction is recorded in 'History' menu
  3. Close and re-open GO-JEK app


I've done all those things, but I still haven't received my top up. What should I do?

You can simply click "More" in GO-PAY tab and choose "Help" or write us an e-mail at cs@go-pay.co.id with these following data: 

  • Phone number that hasn’t received the top up
  • Proof of transaction:
    • Bank: Proof of bank transaction
    • Driver: Order number
    • Alfa Group: Photo of transaction receipt

I Didn't Receive My GO-PAY PIN Verification Code

If you did not receive the code, please follow these steps:

  • Make sure that you are logging in with the phone number registered to your GO-JEK account
  • Make sure your phone has a signal to receive an SMS with verification code
  • Wait until the verification code is sent via SMS. We will send the SMS to the registered phone number
  • Click on ‘Resend Code’ if you still don't get the SMS
  • If your verification code is invalid, please make sure you entered the correct code that is sent to your phone number.

However, if you lose your registered phone number, please contact your service provider to get your phone number back. After that, you can log in to your GO-JEK account with your number.

Remember that verification code is very important and private so you should never share it with other people. PT GO-JEK Indonesia never request the 4-digits verification code. So if any party ask for verification code on behalf of PT GO-JEK Indonesia, please do not share it.

How Do I Set My GO-PAY PIN?

Set your GO-PAY PIN for transactions security while using GO-PAY by following these steps:

  1. Choose ‘More’ in GO-PAY
  2. Click ‘Set GO-PAY PIN'
  3. Choose ‘Set PIN’
  4. Enter your 6 (six) digits PIN twice
  5. You will get a verification code sent to your phone number. Please enter the code
  6. Yay! You have set a GO-PAY PIN

 

What if I want to reset my GO-PAY PIN?

If you want to change your GO-PAY PIN, you can follow these easy steps:

  1. Choose 'More' in GO-PAY
  2. Choose 'Settings'
  3. Choose 'Change PIN'
  4. Enter your current 6 (six) digits PIN
  5. Enter your new 6 (six) digits PIN twice
  6. Your PIN has been successfully changed

GO-PAY PIN is a new security feature that you can now enjoy to keep your GO-PAY transaction secure. You need to set up a 6-digit PIN code that you have to enter each time you make a transaction using GO-PAY.

When creating a GO-PAY PIN, make sure you enter a combination of numbers that is easy to remember, and please do not share it with other people.

  • GO-PAY Withdraw

Easy Way to Upgrade Your GO-PAY Account

Upgrade your GO-PAY account and enjoy GO-PAY transfer and withdraw features. You can also keep your GO-PAY balance up to Rp10.000.000. Make sure you have updated your GO-JEK app to the latest version before upgrading your GO-PAY account.

Follow these steps to upgrade your GO-PAY account:

  1. Choose 'More' in main menu
  2. Click 'Upgrade GO-PAY'
  3. Take a clear picture of your Identity Card (KTP/SIM/PASSPORT)
  4. Take a clear selfie of your face and your Identity Card (KTP/SIM/PASSPORT)
  5. Send the documents by clicking 'Submit'


Already did the upgrading process but your account has not been upgraded? Recheck your selfie and ID card photo you uploaded and make sure if they already met the requirement.

Here’s how to make a good selfie and photo ID card:

Your ID card (KTP, SIM, or Passport)
Take photo of identity card (KTP, SIM, or Passport). We will not verify the photo of the office ID, or any membership card.

  2. In the homepage, tap on “Scan QR”
  3. Scanner will appear on your screen, and all you need to do is point the scanner to the QR code. Make sure the QR code is in good condition, if QR code is unclear or faded, you can ask the cashier to show QR code in the portal or merchant’s app
  4. After scanning the code, you will see the transferee name will appear and make sure it is correct. Next, input the amount of transfer, click “Confirm” and “Transfer”
  5. Input your GO-PAY PIN.
